Tacha Completes Task; Sets Guinness World Record

Natacha Akide professionally known as ‘Simply Tacha’ has successfully completed the attempt for the world Guinness record, setting two new titles for the most cosmetic makeovers in eight hours and 24 hours.

The attempt which was completed in Lagos, had over a thousand persons in attendance who had come witness the event.

During the course of the event, Tacha successfully made 145 people in 24 hours.

Tacha achieved the remarkable milestone during the Tacha Beauty Festival, held from October 10 to 12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture and History, Lagos.

The prestigious Guinness World Record has also announced Tacha as the current holder for the fastest make over.

Guinness World Records confirmed this in a post on X on Wednesday, November 12,2025 saying “Congratulations to @Symply_Tacha who set TWO new @GWR titles for the most cosmetic makeovers in eight hours and 24 hours.”

Responding to the news, Tacha shared her excitement in a video which was shared on her Instagram page.

“Guess who just got approved by Guinness World Record? Not one, but two! Guys, I’m gonna call my friends right now and get their legit reactions”, she in the video shared.

Tacha has made a name for herself after being disqualified from the Big Brother 9ja Season 4.

She has also been involved in humanitarian services through her NGO and girl child advocacy programme which focuses on assisting the less privileged in the society.
