In the final, Lookman scored all three goals in a 3-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen, handing the German side their only defeat of the season.

During his time at Atalanta, Lookman made 137 appearances, scoring 55 goals and providing 27 assists, cementing his reputation as a top-class forward in Europe.
