Fenerbahce are moving quickly to secure the services of Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman before the current transfer window closes.

The Turkish Super Lig side see the Nigeria international as a key addition to boost their attack.
Fenerbahce in Talks with Atalanta for Ademola Lookman
Director of sport Devin Ozek is reportedly in Italy to negotiate directly with Atalanta. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both clubs are working to finalize the deal, while discussions with Lookman over personal terms are expected to follow.
“Direct club-to-club talks between Fenerbahçe and Atalanta set to take place in Italy for Ademola Lookman,” Romano wrote on X. “Talks to follow also on player side over personal terms; Fenerbahçe are trying.”
Lookman Could Join Fenerbahce on Loan with Obligation to Buy
Atalanta appear open to selling Lookman after recently signing Giacomo Raspadori from Atletico Madrid.
Fenerbahce are reportedly exploring a loan deal with an obligation to buy for a total package around €40 million. The Nigeria international’s contract with Atalanta runs until June 2027.

Lookman had previously pushed for a move to Inter Milan last summer, but an agreement between the clubs could not be reached.
Now, Fenerbahce are leading the race to secure the talented playmaker, who was recently named AFCON 2025’s best playmaker.
With his creativity and pace, Ademola Lookman could provide the spark Fenerbahce need to compete at the top of the Turkish league and in European competitions.
