Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman made an immediate impact on his Atlético Madrid debut, scoring a goal and providing an assist to help the team secure a resounding 5–0 win over Real Betis in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals.

The visitors started strongly, taking the lead in the 12th minute when David Hancko met a corner with a precise close-range header.
Just before the half-hour mark, Giuliano Simeone doubled the advantage with a low, accurate strike from inside the box.
Seven minutes later, Ademola Lookman made his mark, breaking forward on the counter and finishing neatly into the bottom-right corner.

Lookman continued to impress after the break. In the 62nd minute, he showcased his vision and playmaking ability by setting up Antoine Griezmann for Atlético’s fourth goal.

Lookman’s pass split the defence, allowing Griezmann to score with a precise shot into the top-right corner.
The Nigerian star played 79 minutes before being replaced by Obed Vegas, and four minutes later, Thiago Almada completed the 5–0 rout with a clinical finish.
