Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman made an immediate impact on his Atlético Madrid debut, scoring a goal and providing an assist to help the team secure a resounding 5–0 win over Real Betis in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals.
The Super Eagles forward scored the third goal and set up the fourth, guiding Atlético Madrid to a dominant victory at the Estadio de La Cartuja and booking a place in the semi-finals.

The visitors started strongly, taking the lead in the 12th minute when David Hancko met a corner with a precise close-range header.
