Standing at 188cm, Ahmed Adebayo is primarily a centre-forward but is also capable of operating on the left wing.

The right-footed attacker is known for his physical presence, speed, and direct style of play.

The Nigerian joined IK Start from Estonian club Tartu Tammeka in the summer of 2025 after enjoying an impressive spell in Estonia.

During his three seasons with Tammeka, Adebayo made 69 appearances and scored 33 goals, establishing himself as one of the club’s key attacking players.

Before moving to Estonia, he also featured for FC Midtjylland’s Under-19 side in Denmark, as well as Latvian clubs Leevon Saldus and Mārupes SC.

KTP Sporting Director Niko Ikävalko believes the Nigerian forward will provide the club with a different attacking dimension.

He described Adebayo as a physical and dangerous striker who is comfortable playing with his back to goal while also possessing the pace to exploit spaces behind opposition defences.

The Nigerian striker expressed his excitement after completing the move and is eager to begin his new chapter in Finland.

“I’m delighted at the prospect of joining KTP. I want to help the team with goals, hard work and good performances. I’m already looking forward to meeting the team and playing in front of our supporters,” Adebayo said.

Ahmed Adebayo has already joined his new teammates in training and will become eligible to play once his work permit is approved.
