Ahoada-East Mutiny: Wanted CSO, Chief of Staff Surrender to Police Over Alleged Assault on Administrator

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) says the erstwhile Chief Security Officer (CSO) and Chief of Staff to the Administrator of Ahoada-East Local Government Area, Hector Ekakita and Aloni Olodi, respectively, who it declared wanted on Sunday, July 6, 2025, have turned themselves in.

The duo was declared wanted in connection with an alleged case of criminal conspiracy, stealing, and assault occasioning harm against their principal, Goodluck Iheanachor.

A statement by the spokesperson of the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, on Friday, July 11, 2025, said both men voluntarily reported at the State Police Command Headquarters at Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, at about 3:00pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

She informed that they were interviewed by the Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju, and his management team, and were later handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation.

“The Command urges anyone with useful information that can aid the ongoing investigation to come forward”.

The Commissioner of Police reiterated the Command’s commitment to upholding law and order, assuring the public that the investigation would be conducted thoroughly and transparently.
