Venezia FC has officially completed the permanent signing of Nigerian striker Akor Adams from La Liga side Sevilla FC.
The 2000-born Super Eagles forward has committed his long-term future to the Arancioneroverdi, signing a contract that keeps him at the club until June 30, 2030.
Adams started his professional development at Nigeria’s Jamba Academy before launching his senior career in Europe:
Sogndal IL (Norway, 2018–2021): Made his professional debut, tallying 16 goals and 6 assists across 56 appearances.
Lillestrøm SK (Norway, 2021/22): Enjoyed a breakout campaign, recording 28 goals and 7 assists in 50 matches (plus 1 appearance in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers and 2 goals for the reserve squad).
Montpellier HSC (France, 2023–2025): Traveled to Ligue 1 in the summer of 2023, generating 13 goals and 5 assists in 49 appearances.
Sevilla FC (Spain, 2025): Moved to La Liga in January 2025, concluding his stint with 10 goals and 4 assists in 37 appearances.
International Record: Represented Nigeria twice at the Under-20 level before earning 15 senior caps and scoring 6 goals for the Super Eagles.

Following his unveiling, the Nigerian international expressed his enthusiasm for the move and shared what drew him to the Serie A club:

Adams revealed that watching videos of past matches made a strong impression on him, particularly the intense loyalty and energy displayed by the fan base.
