Amanyanabo Football Tournament Kicks Off on November 30,2025

The highly anticipated annual Amanyanabo Football Tournament is set to commence on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the Government School field, Bonny, Rivers State.

The tournament, which is the continuation of a cherished tradition, spearheaded by the Amanyanabo and Natural Ruler of Bonny Kingdom, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, JP, Perekule XI aims at bringing together football enthusiasts and communities from across the Grand Bonny Kingdom.

The 2025 edition of the tournament will feature 16 indigenous teams, while the fixtures draw for the tournament will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, setting the stage for an exciting competition.

In his words, His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III hailed key sponsors of the tournament, including Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), The Bonny Local Government and Grafton Entertainment.
