The Belarus-based attacker returns to the national team set-up 548 days after her debut, marking a major moment in her growing career trajectory.

Nkor’s inclusion is one of the standout stories from Madugu’s latest list, which blends experience with fresh energy ahead of the double-header against Senegal.

The forward last wore the green and white on November 30, 2024, in a friendly against France. Since then, she has quietly rebuilt her case, earning consistent minutes and impact at club level.

Now with Belarusian Women’s Premier League side Dynamo Brest, Nkor has hit impressive form in 2026, scoring four goals in seven league appearances, including a brace in a 2-0 win over Vitebsk Women.

Her return signals renewed belief in her attacking threat within the Super Falcons structure.

Since joining Dynamo Brest on a deal running until the end of 2026, the Port Harcourt-born forward has steadily developed into a more complete forward, combining movement, confidence, and sharper finishing.

At just 22, she is increasingly viewed as part of Nigeria’s next wave of attacking talent, especially with her ability to stretch defences and deliver in key moments.

Her recall comes in a squad that also features captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, and veteran striker Asisat Oshoala, alongside returning names like Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Francisca Ordega, and Gift Monday.

Madugu also handed opportunities to emerging players including Turkey-based midfielder Kafayat Shittu and several Europe-based talents, as Nigeria fine-tunes preparations for Senegal.

The Super Falcons will host Senegal on Friday, June 5, before the second friendly on Monday, June 8, with both games set for the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne-Remo.

With the 2026 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations on the horizon, these matches carry added weight as Nigeria look to sharpen their squad ahead of a demanding group stage and World Cup qualification race.
