The Bonny Lawyers Forum (BLF) has elected a new Executive Committee, marking a significant transition in the leadership of the prestigious body.
At elections held on June 16, 2026, at the NBA Port Harcourt House, Victor Pepple, emerged as Chairman of the Forum.
Elected alongside Mr. Pepple are Esther Mabadeje; Vice Chairman, Claribel Fab-Eme; Secretary, Balafama Pepple-Areamen; Assistant Secretary, Basil Pollyn; Financial Secretary, Atonye Ezekiel-Hart; Treasurer, LeslieAnn Abbey; Welfare 1, and Minakikigha Benstowe, Public Relations Officer.
This new Executive succeeds the immediate past leadership that was headed by Amaopusenibo Torudoghubo Jamaica.
In his acceptance speech on behalf of the new leadership, the Chairman, Victor Pepple expressed commitment to advancing the Forum’s objectives, pledging to deliver purposeful, innovative, and result-driven leadership for the benefit of members of the Forum and Bonny Kingdom at large.
The Bonny Lawyers Forum, is the unifying body of legal practitioners of Bonny extraction and boasts membership of over one hundred lawyers, including those in the diaspora.
The Forum serves as a convergence point for some of the most distinguished legal minds from the Bonny Kingdom.
It’s membership includes some highly respected Country Chiefs and titled citizens of BonnyKingdom, Judges of various High Courts Magistrates, members of Customary Courts, senior legal practitioners, and other notable figures.
