Rivers State-born forward Kaye Furo Tamuno Iyowuna, from Okrika Local Government Area, has taken a major step in his career after officially signing a long-term contract with Premier League club Brentford, completing a permanent move from Club Brugge.

Brentford Secure Highly Rated Wonderkid Kaye Furo in Long-Term Deal
Kaye is the son of former Super Eagles centre-back Iyenemi Furo, who featured prominently at the 2000 AFCON.
The youngster arrives with senior-level experience in Belgium’s Pro League, the UEFA Champions League and the Belgian Cup, performances that attracted interest across Europe.
Dual Nationality Keeps Super Eagles Option Open
Although he has represented Belgium at youth levels, he is eligible to feature for Nigeria, keeping the door open for a future Super Eagles call-up, following in the footsteps of his father.
Brentford head coach Keith Andrews praised the striker’s physical and technical qualities, expressing confidence in his development.
“Kaye is someone we have tracked for a while that we are really excited about bringing to the club,” Andrews said.
Kaye will now turn his focus to making an impact in England while hoping to shape his international future.
