BYF Hails King Edward’s 29 Years Reign of Peace, Unity, Progress

The Bonny Youth Federation (BYF), under the leadership of Anthony Banigo, has congratulated His Majesty, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple III, CON, JP, DSSRS, Edward I, Perekule XI, Natural Ruler and Amanyanabo of Grand Bonny Kingdom, on the celebration of his 29th Coronation Anniversary, describing the milestone as a triumph of visionary and enduring leadership.

The apex youth body in Bonny Kingdom said the 29-year reign of the monarch stands as a powerful testament to stability, cultural pride, and purposeful governance that has continued to anchor peace and unity across the Kingdom.

In a goodwill message on Thursday, December 18, 2025 issued on behalf of the youths of Grand Bonny Kingdom and signed by its Leader; Anthony Banigo, and General Secretary; Omoni Sylvanus, the Federation noted that the anniversary fittingly converges with other historic celebrations in the Kingdom, making the moment even more profound and symbolic.

The statement praised the King’s reign as peaceful, people-centred, and development-driven, stressing that his leadership has consistently inspired the younger generation to believe in service, harmony, and collective progress.

“Your Majesty’s 29th Coronation Anniversary is an enduring testament to your visionary, peaceful, and impactful reign,” the statement read.

The Bonny Youth Federation also felicitated with Her Royal Highness, Queen Paula Tamunoipirinye Pepple, on her Iria Ceremony, describing it as a proud reflection of Bonny’s rich cultural heritage and her embodiment of grace, dignity, and virtue.

It further celebrated the 19th Birthday Anniversary of His Highness, the Crown Prince, William Dappa Pepple, offering prayers for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as he grows into the future of the Kingdom.

According to the Federation, the triple celebration underscores the continuity of leadership, culture, and legacy within the Grand Bonny Kingdom.

The youth body reaffirmed its unwavering loyalty to the Amanyanabo and pledged its continued commitment to peace, unity, and progress under his royal leadership.

“The Federation reaffirms its loyalty to Your Majesty and its commitment to the peace and progress of our Kingdom,” the statement added.

Speaking through the message, BYF Chairman, Anthony Banigo, emphasized that the youths of Bonny remain proud partners in the journey of the Kingdom under a monarch whose reign has brought honour and stability to the throne.

The Federation concluded by wishing the King, the Queen, and the Crown Prince continued strength, wisdom, and long life.
