Nigerian forward Clinton Jephta continued his clinical form on Tuesday, scoring in FC Inter Turku’s massive 8-0 victory over JS Hercules.

The win comfortably secures Inter Turku’s spot in the next round of the Finland Suomen Cup.
Clinton Jephta’s Impact Off the Bench
Entering the game in the 58th minute for Vincent Ulundu, Jephta didn’t take long to make his presence felt.
With the hosts already leading by five, the former NPFL star provided the finishing touch to the demolition, netting the eighth and final goal in the 82nd minute.
This goal marks a significant streak for Jephta, who has now scored in consecutive matches.
His latest contribution follows a stellar Man of the Match performance against FF Jaro, where he recorded both a goal and an assist.
The contest at Veritas Stadion was one-sided from the opening whistle. Inter Turku established dominance early and never looked back:
Early Blitz: Jean Botué opened the scoring at the 9-minute mark, followed immediately by Julius Tauriainen just sixty seconds later.
The Hattrick: Julius Tauriainen was the star of the first half, adding a second before the break and eventually completing his hat-trick in the 77th minute.
Second Half Surge: Goals from Vilho Huovila, Vincent Ulundu, and Ilari Kangasniemi kept the scoreboard ticking before Jephta’s late strike.
Looking Ahead
Jephta has enjoyed a productive start to the campaign, recording three direct goal contributions in just four appearances.

The Nigerian forward has found the back of the net twice and provided one assist, maintaining an impressive run of form as he settles into the side.
With two straight wins under their belt, FC Inter Turku is riding a wave of momentum. Jephta and his teammates will shift their focus back to league action as they prepare to face SJK this coming Saturday.
