The globally renowned ‘Convergence’ Conference Series is set to make its debut in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital with clear agenda to help push up the Niger Delta middle class.
This is because it is believed the middle class has suffered neglect whereas all supports go to either the lower class (SMEs) or the upper class.

About 600 CEOs and middle managers are said to be ready to meet in Port Harcourt to solve most Niger Delta’s investment and business headaches through innovative thinking and strategies.
According to Lanre Oluseye, a CEO and business leader, who is the convener, the critical objective is to move middle class careerists and business owners to cross the barriers that hold people down.

At a media parley held on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to announce the coming of the event, Oluseye said the whole idea is to position Niger Delta CEOs, middle managers and businesses owners who want to scale to have a conversation with the right people.
He said those at the very top are to talk to those at the middle to push middle managers up. It will also connect those that have funding needs to real financial networks to move forward.
Some of the top industry leaders that are expected at the ‘Converge’ include Leye Falade, the newly appointed Managing Director/CEO, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG); Gbite Falade, MD/CEO, Aradel Holdings Plc; Kemi Adeosun, Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance; Tope Aladenusi of Deloitte Africa; Segun Zaccheaus, Lead Economist and Strategy at PwC; and Olakunle Soriyan, a Global Thinker, Futurist, and Thought Architect.
Panel discussions will also feature respected voices such as Olakunle Soriyan, Obi Imemba, and Viola Graham Douglas.
A major expectation is the participation of Euro-Exim which may unveil a fund guarantee that would help fund seekers to scale their businesses. It was however gathered that the fund would not be below $500,000 per beneficiary and not above $2bn.
Oluseye of the House on the Rock mission said it is a convergence of ideas, capacity, knowledge, solutions, and strategies. “It is a knowledge conference, not a jamboree.”
He said anybody who attended the paid conference would never be the same, saying it has come to change the narrative in the Niger Delta, and it is not for motivational speaking. “Great minds will come together to chart the course with ideas and strategies”.
He said the takeaway guaranteed from ‘Convergence’ would be change to the participants to move to the next level.
He talked about the ‘Deal Room’ saying persons in that room would find every solution they needed to move forward and meet opportunities for transactions.
The man of God explained why ‘Convergence’ is not free, saying it is for those who prove to be ready to be at hyper summits where the brain works for the rest of the society.
