An impressive array of renowned speakers including the celebrated author of ‘Leading in a Storm and Strategic Turnaround’, Dr Dakuku Peterside, has been unveiled for the forthcoming Annual Faith Conference of FirstLove Assembly, Rukpokwu, Port Harcourt.
These highly sought-after speakers will grace the Leadership and Business Session of the Conference, which is part of the 13th Anniversary of the Church, scheduled to hold from Wednesday to Saturday, August 12 to 15, 2026, in Rukpokwu, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Dr. Peterside, a renowned leadership expert, is a former Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
Also expected to deliver keynote addresses are the Vice Chancellor of Rivers State University (RSU), Professor Isaac Zeb-Obipi, a respected leadership scholar, and Chief Executive Officer of Tico’s Kitchen, Tina Osuji, who will share insights on entrepreneurship and business growth.

Dr. Peterside, who is widely recognised as a management turnaround expert, leadership coach and thought leader, will speak on the theme, “The Ten Greatest Leadership Lessons I Learnt From Public Service — And Why Every Entrepreneur Should Know Them”.
According to the organisers, the 2026 conference will feature three morning sessions dedicated to leadership, enterprise and career development, with the objective of strengthening leadership capacity and inspiring participants to pursue greater accomplishments in their personal and professional lives.

In a statement jointly signed by Pastor Alfred James Abu and Dr. Boma Waribor, the organisers said the 13th anniversary conference “marks a prophetic season of new beginnings for our commission” and is structured “to equip leaders for this new season and higher service.”
A major highlight of this year’s edition will be “The Exchanges,” a structured networking initiative designed to foster meaningful relationships among the anticipated 500 participants drawn from diverse industries, professions and backgrounds.
Organisers described the initiative as an opportunity for attendees to build lasting professional connections beyond the conference sessions.
Other ministers expected to speak at the conference include Chris Oarhe, Joseph Akanya, Wisdom Osiri, Simeon Afolabi and Alfred James Abu, who will examine leadership from a spiritual perspective while encouraging participants to embrace purposeful and transformational leadership.
