Against the order of a Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, the NNPC Exploration and Production Limited has continued its activities on the Ntamoku Ayambo Pipeline Estate.
Kristina Reports team in Bonny on Friday, February 20, 2026 witnessed a team from the company led by NNPCL Community Liaison Officer (CLO), Romeo Waribo inspecting the areas affected by the demolition exercise.




The team comprising about 15 men with Police escorts took an excursion through the affected from the King Perekule Road axis to Hospital Road and down to the Ayambo Community waterfront adjacent to the King Asimini Bypass.
Justice Rita Oguguo had on Friday, February 13, 2026 issued the exparte order in Suit No.: BYHC/17/CS/2026, after hearing the submission of Chief Eugene Odey, the counsel to the residents of the Ntamoku Ayambo Pipeline Estate, who are claimants in the Suit.
In the said order, Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, NNPC Exploration and Production Company Limited (NEPL), WAGL Energy Limited, and Kristal Polis Limited, were restrained from continuing with the demolitions in the Ntamoku Ayambo Pipeline Estate in Bonny, Rivers State.
Claimants in the suit are 45 residents of Ntamoku Ayambo Pipeline Estate, who are suing on behalf of themselves, families and other residents of the area, while the four companies are respondents in the said suit.
Justice Oguguo, who adjourned the case to Tuesday, February 24, 2026 for Motion on Notice, also granted the claimants leave to serve the writ of summons and accompanying processes on the defendants through substituted means.
Residents of the area protested on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 when they woke to see heavy duty equipment demolishing structures and officials of Kristal Polis Limited ordering them to vacate their residences on or before Friday, February 13, 2026 as they were set to demolish their residences.
