Rivers State Commissioner for Urban Development and Physical Planning, Sir Amaopusenibo Amairigha Edward Hart, KSC, has extended warm Easter greetings to residents of Bonny Kingdom, and people of Rivers State.
In his Easter message, Amaopusenibo Hart described the season as a time for reflection, sacrifice, and renewal of faith, urging citizens to embrace the core values of love, unity, and selflessness as exemplified in the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He noted that Easter serves as a reminder of hope and victory over adversity, encouraging the people to remain steadfast and optimistic despite prevailing socio-economic challenges.
Amaopusenibo Hart, who is also the Chairman of the Bonny Kingdom Development Committee (BKDC), reaffirmed his commitment to the development of Bonny Kingdom and Rivers State, emphasizing the importance of collective responsibility in building sustainable communities and improving living standards.
“As we celebrate Easter, let us renew our dedication to peace, unity, and progress. The spirit of the season calls for compassion, resilience, and a shared commitment to the growth and development of our communities,” he stated.
The BKDC Chairman also called on residents to continue supporting government initiatives aimed at infrastructural development and urban planning reforms across the state.
He further urged citizens to use the festive period to pray for peace, security, and prosperity in Bonny Kingdom, Rivers State, and Nigeria as a whole.
