Favour Ofili Wins ATX Sprint Classic, Runs Personal Best

Nigeria’s Favour Ofili delivered an impressive performance in the women’s 100m final at the ATX Sprint Classic in Texas, winning with a time of 10.78 seconds (wind speed: +3.1).
The 22-year-old Port Harcourt-born athlete outpaced Gabby Thomas, who finished with a time of 10.95 seconds, and Kayla White, who clocked in at 10.97 seconds.

Her fellow Nigerian athlete, Rosemary Chukwuma, also competed and finished fifth with a time of 10.98 seconds.
Rosemary had earlier won her heat in 10.93s (3.9) ahead of Gabby Thomas in 10.96s. While Ofili set a new personal best of 10.87 seconds in her Heat.
