Isaac Success Shows Dead-Eye Accuracy in Libya

Success was the hero for Al Taawon during a tense away fixture against Al Anwar. The 30-year-old striker, who has started 13 of his 14 appearances this season, found his scoring boots just when his team needed them most.

Al Anwar held a 1-0 lead for much of the match thanks to a first-half strike by Ahmed Ehmouda, but the game exploded into life in the final ten minutes.

The Nigerian forward levelled the score with a composed penalty in the 84th minute. Although Al Anwar regained the lead almost immediately through Ibrahima Ndiaye, Success remained unfased.

Deep into stoppage time, he was called upon again from the penalty spot. He converted his second of the night in the 90th minute, securing a vital 2-2 draw and taking his season tally to six goals.

Ebuka Sparks Al Ittihad Comeback in Egypt

While Success was busy in Libya, John Ebuka was busy maintaining his red-hot form in the Egyptian Premier League.

Playing for Al Ittihad Alexandria, Ebuka was instrumental in a hard-fought 2-1 victory at the Alexandria Stadium.

This win provides a massive boost for the club as they navigate the pressure of the relegation group stages.

The visitors took an early lead through Mostafa Saad, leaving Al Ittihad with work to do.

However, Ebuka stepped up just before the halftime whistle to fire home the equaliser.

This marks the third goal in four matches for the 29-year-old, who has now scored in two consecutive league games.

His contribution set the stage for Afsha to net the winner later in the half, capping off a perfect afternoon for the home fans.
