The Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Jimmy Odukoya, has publicly introduced his new wife, Mo Odukoya, to his congregation, describing her as his wife and the church’s new First Lady during a Sunday service in Lagos.
The introduction took place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the church’s headquarters in Ilupeju, Lagos State, a day after the cleric sparked speculation about his marital status through a social media post featuring two hands wearing wedding rings.

Odukoya shared the photograph on his Instagram page on Saturday, October 31, with the caption, “To New Beginnings”, without initially identifying the woman or providing further details about the development.
The photograph generated reactions from his followers, with some interpreting it as an indication that he had remarried, while others sent congratulatory messages.
However, he cleared the speculation during Sunday’s service when he addressed the congregation, made references to the biblical account of Adam and Eve, and explained that he had been carrying out his pastoral responsibilities without a wife before finding a new companion.
Speaking during the service, Odukoya said, “So, you know, ever since I became your pastor, I was doing this walk of life alone.”
He subsequently referred to the biblical account of Adam finding a suitable companion, saying, “You know, the Bible said it is not good; it said I will find somebody suitable.”
“When Adam saw it, he said, ‘This is the flesh of my flesh, the bone of my bone, my left and right rib.'”
Referring to the reactions generated by his Instagram post, the cleric acknowledged that some people had questioned the photograph before confirming that it represented his marriage.
He then formally presented his wife to the congregation, declaring, “Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you for the first time, Pastor Mrs Odukoya.”
He also described her as the church’s new First Lady and his wife.
The announcement was greeted with cheers and applause as Mo joined her husband and the couple walked towards the church stage.
In her brief address, Mo expressed her appreciation for the welcome and described it as an honour to stand alongside her husband.
“Good morning, family.”
“It’s my pleasure and honour to be here and stand alongside my husband, the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church,” she said.
The service also featured prayers for the couple from Tunde Bakare, founder of Citadel Global Community Church, who joined his wife, Olayide, in blessing their union.
The couple knelt before Bakare and his wife as they prayed for their marriage, family and responsibilities within the church.

During the prayer session, Bakare disclosed that the couple had already solemnised their marriage in the United States, although he said he did not know the exact date of the wedding.
He also prayed for peace, stability and God’s guidance in their household, expressing the hope that their marriage would become an example to others.
The development marks another chapter in Odukoya’s personal life following the end of his previous marriage to Oluwakemi Banjoko.
Odukoya and Banjoko got married in London in March 2013 and had two children together before their separation.
The circumstances surrounding the end of their marriage, including the exact date of their separation and divorce, have not been publicly established.
Mo was also previously married to British-Nigerian music producer Mosadoluwa Adegboye, popularly known as itsMOSA.
She has been described as a creative entrepreneur and designer, although details about the circumstances and timeline of her previous marriage remain unclear.
Odukoya became the Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church in September 2023 following the death of his father, Taiwo Odukoya, who died in the United States on Monday, August 7, 2023.
He was installed as senior pastor on Saturday, September 30, 2023, alongside his sister, Tolu Odukoya, who also assumed pastoral leadership responsibilities in the church.
His public introduction of Mo on Sunday, November 1, has now confirmed his remarriage to his congregation, following the brief social media announcement that generated widespread curiosity a day earlier.
While the exact date of the wedding in the United States remains undisclosed, the church introduction provided the first public confirmation of his new marriage and presented Mo to the congregation as its new First Lady.
