Aribo has completed a loan move to Leicester City from Southampton until the end of the 2025/26 season, subject to league approval.

Speaking after the move, he described the opportunity as “amazing” and praised Leicester City’s facilities, calling them almost breathtaking.

After a difficult campaign, Aribo is keen to rediscover his best form through regular minutes.

Known for his comfort on the ball and willingness to take risks, he hopes to add goals and influence matches from midfield.

Although best suited to a central midfield or No.10 role, Aribo stressed his adaptability, noting that he can fill different positions depending on the manager’s needs.

His versatility makes him a valuable option for Leicester City as they push through the final months of the season.

Onyeka Joins Coventry City Ahead of Promotion Push

Elsewhere, Frank Onyeka has joined Coventry City on loan from Premier League side Brentford. The deal includes an obligation to make the transfer permanent should the Sky Blues secure promotion.

Onyeka brings proven top-flight experience, having made 75 Premier League appearances for Brentford since joining in 2021.

He played a key role in their ninth-place finish during the 2022/23 season, the club’s best-ever Premier League campaign.
