The Chairman of Khana Local Government Area, Thomas Bariere Ariar, has congratulated Bulabari Henrietta Loolo on her victory in the Khana II State Constituency by-election conducted yesterday under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

In statement, signed by the Special Adviser to the Chairman on Social and Electronic Media, Kpazoo Morrison, and made public today, February 22, 2026, the Khana LGA Boss expressed optimism in the outcome of subsequent polls for the All Progressives Congress party in the area.

Thomas, who also serves as Coordinator of Khana Renewed Hope, recalled his earlier statement during the electioneering campaign that the poll would serve as a test case for what to expect in 2027 regarding the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He noted that the outcome of the election, which saw Bulabari emerge victorious with a wide margin, reflects the confidence of the people in the Renewed Hope agenda.

The Chairman commended members of the Renewed Hope family and the people of Khana Constituency II for turning out en masse to exercise their franchise. He described the election as peaceful, free, and fair, and expressed optimism that the member-elect will deliver effective representation and uphold democratic values.
