Chairman of Ahoada-West Local Government Area of Rivers State, Eugene Epelle has been accused of assaulting and battery by an indigene of Odiokwu Town in the same LGA, Ogadinma Miller.
In a video she made by herself and shared on social media, Ogadinma accused Epelle of visiting her home and assaulting her raising alarm on social media over the dilapidated condition of schools in her hometown.
Kristina Reports reliably leant that she visited the Community Secondary School at Odiokwu Town and taken pictures and made videos of the bad state of the school and posted them online.
In the said posts, she drew the attention of government at all Levels and concerned individuals to the deplorable state of the school, calling on the Chairman of Ahoada-West LGA , Eugene Epelle, who also hails from the community, to do something about the school.
Ogadinma in her now viral video disclosed that Epelle, alongside his brothers and security aides, invaded her residence on Sunday, March 1, 2026 and assaulted her and, in the course of the beating, broke her lips.
Efforts to reach the Ahoada-West LGA Chairman, Eugene Epelle, to have his reaction over the issue has yet proved abortive as he neither answered his calls or responded to messages sent to his mobile lines.
