Legislative Assembly Leader Lauds Arugbana-Ama Youth for Developmental Focus, Unity

The Leader of Bonny Legislative Assembly, Kingsley Jumbo has praised the youths of Arugbana-Ama Community in Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State for their commitment to the development of their community and the unity existing among them.
Jumbo gave this commendation on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 when he played host to the Arugbana-Ama Youth Congress (AYC) which paid him a courtesy call in his office in Bonny, Rivers State.

He also commended them for organizing a series of events aimed at promoting unity and togetherness in the community, noting that such patriotic disposition was worthy of emulation.
The respected ranking lawmaker offered the youths strategic advice on how to enhance local security, assuring them of his readiness to support initiatives that foster the growth and stability of the area.
A statement by the spokesperson of the Bonny Legislative Assembly, Elvis Green, disclosed that the Leader of the Legislative arm of government in Bonny LGA, also encouraged the youths to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise.
The statement further disclosed that Kingsley Jumbo, who is also the Councillor representing Ward 10 in the Assembly, urged them to engage actively in political activities, emphasizing that youth involvement is vital to strengthening Ward 10 and advancing the Bonny LGA.
Earlier, the Leader of the Arugbana-Ama Youth Congress, Abalafagha Jumbo had congratulated the Legislative Leader on his election and emergence as head of the 10th Assembly.

He noted that Arugbana-Ama Community is one of the units that make up Ward 10, which falls under the Leader’s constituency.
He used the opportunity to present the AYC’s upcoming programmes – Arugbana-Ama Praise Night and Agbalama London Party – soliciting the support of the Legislative Leader and collaboration with his office.
He further raised concerns over security in the community and sought guidance on measures to strengthen safety, particularly ahead of the festive season.
