Love takes centre stage today as Emmanuella Anurika and Olaitan Jacob unite in holy matrimony, marking a remarkable intertribal wedding that has captured attention across cultural lines.
The wedding ceremony holds this Saturday, March 28, 2026.

The couple will exchange vows at 11 a.m. prompt at Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), 68/69 Morrison Crescent, Alausa Bus Stop, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
Today’s ceremony follows their traditional marriage held on February 27, 2026, in the bride’s hometown, where culture and family bonds were richly displayed.

Emmanuella Anurika is from Umuekwele Itu, Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State, a community known for its deep-rooted traditions and strong family heritage.
Speaking on the significance of today, the bride described the moment as one she has long believed in.
“Today is not just about us, it is about showing that love can cross every boundary and still remain pure and true,” she said.
The groom, Olaitan Jacob, said the union represents more than a marriage, but a statement.
“This is bigger than a wedding for us. It is a symbol that unity is possible, and that love will always find its way,” he said.
Families B.O. Anyanwu and Timothy Omootemi expressed joy over the union, noting that it reflects peace, acceptance, and shared values between two cultures.

Reception follows immediately after the church service at the same venue, with guests expected to witness a blend of Igbo and Yoruba traditions in a colourful celebration.
With its shades of blue, gold, and white setting the tone, today’s event stands as more than a ceremony, but a powerful reminder that in diversity, love still leads.
