Nigeria’s male U18 volleyball team has secured a place in the final of the ongoing 2026 CAVB U18 African Nations Volleyball Championship in Alexandria, Egypt.
The young stars made a strong statement of intent after recording an emphatic 3-0 victory over rivals Cameroon in the semi-final.
The Nigeria U18 side dominated the encounter, sweeping aside their Central African opponents with scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 25-19 to further establish themselves as one of the favourites for the title.
The victory extends Nigeria’s unbeaten run in the tournament, with the team dropping just a single set throughout their impressive campaign.
Having secured five consecutive wins, including four victories on the bounce, the boys are now just one win away from being crowned champions.
They will shift their focus to the final as they aim to complete a remarkable run and lift the trophy.
