A Rivers State High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, has adjourned the Suit involving the demolition of properties at the Ntamoku Ayambo Pipeline Estate in Bonny, Rivers State.

Justice Oguguo had on Friday, February 13, 2026 issued the exparte order restraining Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, NNPC Exploration and Production Company Limited (NEPL), WAGL Energy Limited, and Kristal Polis Limited from carrying out any further demolitions in the area.

In an interview with Kristina Reports, Counsel to the claimants, Chief Eugene Odey explained that the case involving 45 residents of the Ntamoku Ayambo Pipeline Estate was adjourned due to failure of one of the defendants, Kristal Polis, to appear, claiming lack of service of the court processes.

He recalled that there was an interim injunction granted by the High Court, restraining the parties in the suit from carrying out any further demolition of properties pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice and outcome of the entire suit.

“We’re unable to locate the address, so we couldn’t serve and so we have taken another date to effect service on them.”

“We have not been able to locate the address of Kristal Polis, so, we couldn’t serve.”

Chief Odey informed that the case has been adjourned to Friday, March 13, 2026, expressing positivity that the issue of service would be sorted out and justice would be served.

“But today, NNPC had a counsel representing them in court and he told the court that he only became aware of the matter just today. So, they also have time to file their response to our suit.”
