The 26-year-old forward’s decisive strike came in the dying moments of the match against Kudrivka in the Ukrainian Premier League, giving Metalist a crucial 1-0 win.
This goal, Mba’s third of the season, came just after he scored in Metalist’s dominant 4-0 victory over Veres Rivne in their previous match.
Mba’s timely intervention not only secured the three points for Metalist but also pushed the club to 5th place in the league standings, just eight points behind leaders Shakhtar Donetsk.
