The Black Sea Storm dominated the match at Papara Park, marking another impressive display following the recent international break.

Onuachu Opens the Scoring in Lightning Start

It took just four minutes for Onuachu to set the tone. Wagner Pina delivered a sublime lofted cross into the box, and the towering striker met it with a powerful header into the bottom left corner.

Onuachu’s strike added to his remarkable season tally, bringing his total goal contributions to 26 across all competitions, including 22 in the Super Lig.

Nwakaeme and Nwaiwu Seal the Win

After Galatasaray briefly equalised through Wilfried Singo’s precise finish from a Baris Alper Yilmaz cross, Trabzonspor regained the lead in style.

Anothony Nwakaeme provided a pinpoint assist from the wing, allowing Chibuike Nwaiwu to leap high and deliver a close-range header into the top left corner.

Nwaiwu’s strike proved decisive, marking his third goal of the season and securing all three points for the home side.

The victory highlighted the continued synergy between Onuachu and Nwaiwu, who last combined for goals in a February clash against Karagumruk.

Nwakaeme’s creative presence also added a crucial spark, contributing his second assist of the season for the team.

Trabzonspor’s win not only thrilled the home fans but also sent a strong statement to the league leaders, showcasing the impact of Nigeria’s Super Eagles stars in Turkish football.
