Poco Lee Returns to Social Media Amid Ongoing UK Court Case

Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has returned to social media weeks after being detained in the United Kingdom over alleged sexual offences.

Odinaka returned to Instagram on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, sharing photographs from London and appearing in public for the first time on his personal page since the legal controversy surrounding his detention became widely known.

In one of the posts, the entertainer shared photographs taken around Cabot Square in London, while other content showed him preparing Chinese food and enjoying music.

He captioned the Instagram post simply, “ODINAKA.”

The return marked a notable resumption of his online activity after weeks of limited public visibility during the period in which the UK proceedings were unfolding.

Odinaka, however, did not address the sexual-offence allegations, his detention, his bail conditions or the status of the court case in the October 6 posts.

His return to public view came after he was granted bail on Friday, September 11, 2026, following weeks in custody in the United Kingdom.

The legal proceedings stem from alleged offences said to have occurred in Tower Hamlets, east London, on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Odinaka faces five sexual-offence charges comprising two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and two counts of assault by penetration.

He first appeared before Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, before the matter was transferred to Snaresbrook Crown Court.

His scheduled plea and trial-preparation hearing on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, could not proceed because the charge sheet was unavailable, meaning he did not enter a plea at that stage.

The court subsequently fixed Monday, February 8, 2027, for the next plea and trial-preparation hearing.

The substantive trial has been scheduled to begin on Monday, March 8, 2027.

Odinaka has denied the allegations and previously maintained his innocence while discussing the case during an Instagram Live session.

“If I did what someone said I did, I would say I am suffering my sins,” he said.

“As I did not do anything, my mind is as pure as anything,” he added.

The case remains before the UK court, and Odinaka has not been convicted of any offence.

A reporting restriction is also in place to protect the identity of the complainant, meaning information capable of identifying the person cannot responsibly be published.

His October 6 social-media appearance therefore does not signal the end of the proceedings, with the next major legal step remaining the Monday, February 8, 2027 plea and trial-preparation hearing.

For now, the entertainer has returned to sharing glimpses of his life in London, while the allegations against him remain subject to determination through the judicial process.
