Police Arrest Bicycle-Riding Inter-State Car Snatcher, Recovers Stolen Vehicle

The bullish aggression of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) against crime and criminality has again paid off with the arrest of a car snatcher and recovery of a stolen car.
Public Relations Officer of the Rivers State Police Command, Grace Iringe-Koko, a Superintendent of Police (SP), said an operation on Wednesday, May 5, 2025 at 11:30am led to the breakthrough.

According to her, operatives of the Command’s Anti-Cultism Unit led by Attah Alih, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), while on a routine patrol along Abacha Road, GRA, intercepted the suspect identified as Felix Clark, riding a bicycle.
Upon interrogation, seven master keys were recovered from the suspect.
Following his arrest and subsequent questioning, a red Hyundai Sonata with registration number EKY531 GG, earlier reported stolen was retrieved from his residence.

In his statement, the suspect further mentioned other members of his gang operating in Delta, Edo and Lagos States.
As investigations unfold and updates will be provided, the State Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju reiterated the commitment of the Police to ensure the safety and security of lives and properties.
He encouraged members of the public to maintain cooperation with the Police to provide timely intervention.
