The General Public is hereby informed that it has come to the notice of Bonny Chiefs’ Council that unscrupulous individuals now engage in unauthorized sale, purchase and development of plots of land belonging to the Kingdom, situate at both sides of Bodo-Bonny Road.
This Notice therefore, is to inform the General Public:
- To beware of the activities of land grabbers around the area in reference.
- That any land sold or purchased around the area in reference, without appropriate Authorization and Approval, is illegal, null and void.
- That all illegal structures erected on Kingdom’s Land without proper layout approval in line with the Bonny Master plan will be demolished without notice.
- That anyone encroaching, selling or buying Bonny Kingdom’s Land will be prosecuted accordingly.
- That all prospective land buyers are to seek advisory from the Bonny Chiefs’ Council or any designated Agency of the Kingdom for proper guidance.
- That anyone who buys any portion of land at areas in reference without proper Authorization and Approval takes the risk of losing such land without compensation.
- That this measure is taken to ensure that future developments on the Land are in line with the Bonny Master plan.
