Nigerian marksman, Quadri Adediran, has officially secured the 2025/26 Czech National Football League Golden Boot. The prolific striker wrapped up a sensational regular season with an impressive 17 goals in 28 matches for SK Artis Brno.

SK Artis Brno star Quadri Adediran registered 17 goals to win Czech league Golden Boot

Adediran sealed his status as the league’s top sharp-shooter during Artis Brno’s final regular-season fixture away at MFK Chrudim.

Needing to maintain his lead at the top of the charts, the 25-year-old delivered, ultimately finishing two goals clear of his nearest rival, Lukas Matejka of FC Silon Táborsko.

Ice in His Veins: How Adediran Secured the Scoring Title

In the season finale at the Stadion Arnošta Košťála, Artis Brno found themselves on the back foot early after David Bauer put Chrudim ahead in the 21st minute.

However, Adediran showed his trademark composure just before the interval, coolly slotting home a penalty to level the score at 1-1.

That crucial spot-kick capped off a scorching end to the season for the Nigerian, who found the back of the net in three straight games, racking up four goals in his final five outings.

Though Adediran was substituted in the 57th minute for David Hamansenya, and Chrudim later clinched a 2-1 win courtesy of a David Jurčenko strike, the Nigerian’s primary mission had already been accomplished.

Since completing his €280k move from top-flight Dynamo České Budějovice on July 1, 2025, the left-footed center-forward has been an absolute revelation.

Adediran quickly established himself as the focal point of the Brno attack, highlighted by a blistering mid-season run where he scored five goals in just four consecutive games.

In total, he boasts 18 goals across all competitions this season, including a strike in the Czech Cup.

Season Snapshot: Adediran scored 17 league goals in 28 appearances, averaging over a goal every two games to power Brno’s promotion charge.

Thanks to Adediran’s goal-scoring exploits, Artis Brno accumulated 52 points to secure a commendable third-place finish in the standings.

While they finished 24 points adrift of league champions FC Zbrojovka Brno, their third-place effort earned them a coveted spot in the promotion play-offs.

The Golden Boot winner won’t have long to celebrate. Adediran will lead the line later today at the Stadion SK Lisen, where Artis Brno hosts top-flight side Slovacko in the high-stakes first leg of the 1. Liga promotion final.
