The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) now has a new Public Relations Officer for its Rivers State Command.She is Blessing Kaborlo Agabe, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
A statement on Friday, April 10, 2026, by the outgoing PPRO, Grace Iringe-Koko, a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), revealed that ASP Agabe’s appointment was approved by the Inspector General of Police, (IGP), Olatunji Disu.

ASP Kaborlo, an indigene of Tai Local Government Area of Rivers State, was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2023 after completing a five-year training programme at the Nigeria Police Academy, where she earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B). She also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Rivers State University.

Over the course of her career, she has undertaken several professional training programmes, including a Combat Operations and Counter-Terrorism Course at the Police Mobile Force Training School in Ende Hills, Nasarawa State, as well as a Citizenship and Leadership Training Course at Shere Hills, Jos.
She has served in various capacities within the Force, demonstrating professionalism and dedication.
Her previous postings include the Divisional Police Station in Okporo, the Human Rights Section (DFA), and the Police Public Relations Office in Rivers State Command, where she most recently served as Second-in-Command prior to her appointment.
The Command stated that ASP Kaborlo’s appointment is expected to strengthen communication and enhance police-community relations across the state.
