Evomec Global Services Limited (EGSL) has assured residents of Bonny Local Government Area that the road expansion project from the Bonny Oil and Gas Terminal (BOGT) to Coal Beach will be delivered within agreed timelines.
Chief Executive Officer of Evomec, High Chief Peter Esievo, gave this assurance at the weekend in a virtual interview with Kristina Reports.

“Bonny Kingdom is our home and we cannot betray the high level of confidence reposed in us by our big daddy, His Majesty, the King.”
“We assure our dear Bonny people that we will give the best quality possible within the timeline given us by our sponsors, NLNG, and the Kingdom.”
“If we have to excavate, we will; if we have to do the best earth works, we will; and if we have to exhaust every resource within our possession, we will do so, all to ensure that we give Bonny Kingdom the best.”
He reiterated his company’s earlier appeal for the cooperation and support of residents and stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.

Evomec has, over the years, been delivering high end projects in the engineering, construction and procurement thresholds for all classes of clients in the public and private sectors across different parts of the country.
Some of the projects delivered by the company in Bonny LGA include the reconstruction of collapsed Akiama Bridge, reconstruction of failed sections of Akiama Road, construction of a bridge along the NLNG export jetty road, construction of Phase 1 of the New Finima Road, and earth works for the NLNG Train 7 project, among several others.

In 2025, Evomec was engaged by Africa’s foremost gas firm, the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG), to deliver the road expansion project between BOGT gate and Coal Beach, with a spur off from the Amaomu Junction through Court Road down to the King Perekule Palace.
This road infrastructure is one of several corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects associated with NLNG’s Train 7 project.
