Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State has been thrown into herald as the Police, Vigilante members and the Civilian Joint Task Force have been instrumental in the rescue and arrest of abductees from their abductors on Monday, May 11, 2026.
Kristina Reports learnt that the issue of Child kidnap has been ongoing for quite a long and finally a breakthrough has been made as two minors, Caleb and Joy have been rescued.
Sources related to Kristina Reports that the children were kidnapped by one lady who’s name is yet to be known and taken out of town.
Upon interrogation, the woman mentioned some of her accomplices who were natives of Abia State while the said woman’s Nativity is yet to be known.
It was also revealed that their operation has been on for sometime and several children have been declared missing and the woman confessed that they have made away with several children.
The children who couldn’t explained the entire situation or properly reveal the identity of the abductors only gave a description ‘Refinery’ which served as a hint to tracing their family and rescuing the children.
Residents are advised to remain vigilant and monitor the children activities both at home, church school and the surroundings as the woman further reveal that there are many of them involved in this heinous act.
