Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi has completed a loan move from OGC Nice to Portuguese giants FC Porto, taking the next step in his European career.

The 26-year-old joins the Dragons with a clear goal: competing at the highest level and pushing for success in the Champions League.
Terem Moffi Begins New Chapter at FC Porto
Moffi arrives at FC Porto from OGC Nice, where he joined in January 2023 and went on to establish himself as a key attacking option.
During his time in France, the Nigerian striker made 72 appearances, scoring 24 goals and registering five assists across all competitions.
Porto have the option to make the deal permanent for €8m at the end of the season.
Moffi will wear the number 29 shirt and reunite with Francesco Farioli, the coach who brought him to Nice in 2023.

He also links up with international teammate Zaidu Sanusi at the former European champions.
The former Lorient forward scored three goals in 15 appearances for Les Aiglons this season before sealing the switch to Portugal.
Moffi Drawn by Porto’s Winning Mentality
Speaking after the move was confirmed, Moffi highlighted the ambition that attracted him to the club.
“I feel very proud to be here. It is a club that always strives to win trophies, to win games in the Champions League and Liga Portugal. We know how important this is to the fans and to the Porto family, so it is really good to be here.”
Moffi is no stranger to Porto. He featured for Nice in their 3-0 defeat to the Dragons in a Europa League clash in November 2025, an experience that offered a close look at the club’s intensity and standards.
Reflecting on his mindset, the striker stressed the importance of enjoyment in his game.
Moffi said that, as a player, he loved being happy while playing football, and when he was happy on the pitch, nothing else mattered.
He added that this was when he performed at his best, enjoying scoring goals, working for the team, and interacting with the fans.
Aware of the expectations that come with playing for Porto, Moffi remains confident.
He acknowledged the huge demands but believed that, with God’s help, he would deliver the goals the fans wanted to see.
With Champions League football on the horizon and a fresh challenge ahead, Terem Moffi now has the platform to make his mark in Portugal.
