Nigeria’s Super Falcons have discovered their path at the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations following Thursday’s official draw in Rabat.

The defending champions will compete in Group C as they begin the quest for another continental crown in Morocco.

Super Falcons Set for Tough WAFCON 2026 Group C Test

At WAFCON 2026, the Super Falcons will face Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi in a group that promises early intensity.

All Group C matches will be played at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, where Nigeria will aim to assert their dominance from the opening game.

As ten-time African champions will be coming into the tournament with the hopes of grabbing a record-extending 11th title.

Their experience and pedigree place them among the early favourites, but the quality within Group C means there will be little room for error.

WAFCON 2026 Draw: Super Falcons’ Route in Morocco

The draw ceremony, held on Thursday afternoon in Rabat, also confirmed the full group lineup across the tournament.

Hosts Morocco headline Group A alongside Algeria, Senegal, and Kenya, with matches scheduled for the Moulay Al Hassan Stadium in Rabat.

Group B features former champions South Africa, joined by Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Tanzania.

Their fixtures will take place at the Al Madina Stadium, also in Rabat. Meanwhile, Group D includes Ghana, Cameroon, Mali, and Cape Verde, with games set for the Complexe Sportif de Fès.

The 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations will run from March 17 to April 3, with Morocco hosting the expanded finals.

For the Super Falcons, the mission is clear: defend your crown, navigate a demanding group, and once again set the standard for women’s football on the continent.
