Residents of Borokiri in Port Harcourt Local Government have experienced unrest as a result of the clash that ensued between Tantita Operatives with Borokiri youths.
Kristina Reports gathered this on Wednesday may 7, 2026 from sources who pleaded anonymity that two people were injured as a result of the fight.

While the cause of the fight is yet to be properly ascertain, relevant sources explained that the reason for the fight was a call for decentralisation of pipeline surveillance which the resident believe will stop the community from being raided.
According to a Facebooker, Fejiro Oliver, he explained in his post that Tantita has become an Armed militia in the Niger Delta Region and the people are not safe.

“Your money is used to wage war against you, of the wealth won’t flow around, then let it not flow”
Speaking with resident in the area who pleaded to remit anonymous, this is a lesson to all pipeline community to safeguard pipeline areas.
As at the time of the report, effort to teach community leaders and Tantita head proved abortive.
