Team LAGBAJA Wins NADCEL 2026 Polo Tournament to Crown Army Day Celebration
The NADCEL 2026 Polo Tournament was one of the major sporting events organised to commemorate the 163rd Anniversary of the Nigerian Army.
The tournament reflected the Army’s strong emphasis on physical fitness, healthy competition and camaraderie, qualities regarded as essential for building a professional and combat-ready force capable of addressing today’s national security challenges.
The championship also provided an avenue for personnel to strengthen bonds, demonstrate leadership and reinforce the values that support military excellence both on and off the field.
NADCEL 2026 Polo Tournament Reinforces Teamwork and Operational Excellence
At the conclusion of the tournament, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, presented the championship trophy to Team LAGBAJA.
He praised all participating teams for displaying discipline, determination and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the competition.
