Terem Moffi made a statement on Friday night as he scored his first goal for FC Porto in a 3-1 win over Arouca at the Estádio do Dragão.

The Nigerian forward came off the bench to seal the result in stoppage time, capping a strong team performance in Liga Portugal.

The round 24 clash started at a fast pace, with Oskar Pietuszewski giving Porto the lead inside the opening minute.
The hosts controlled much of the first half but were pegged back in the 70th minute when Nais Djouahra equalised for Arouca.
Moffi was introduced 17 minutes into the second half, replacing Deniz Gul. It was his third appearance for the club since arriving during the winter transfer window, and once again he was deployed from the bench.
As the match entered added time, Porto regained the advantage through William Gomes, who calmly converted from the penalty spot.
With Arouca pushing forward in search of another equaliser, spaces opened up for the home side.

Terem Moffi ensured there would be no late drama. Seven minutes into additional time, he slid in to finish a low cross and put the result beyond doubt.
The goal not only wrapped up the three points but also handed FC Porto a four-point lead at the top of the Liga Portugal table.
The 26-year-old Super Eagles forward has now featured three times for Porto, all as a substitute, with just 50 minutes of playing time before Friday’s fixture.
His impact against Arouca shows why the club moved quickly to secure his services on loan from OGC Nice, with an €8 million purchase option included in the deal.
Moffi arrived in Portugal after a challenging spell in Ligue 1 but brought solid European experience from previous stints in Lithuania and Belgium.
