Within 12 minutes, Arokodare assisted Wolves’ fifth goal and then scored himself, wrapping up the scoring in just four minutes.

This marked his fourth goal of the season since joining Wolves from Belgian side Genk, bringing his total to five goal contributions.

Strand Larsen set the tone for Wolves with an early goal in the ninth minute, finishing neatly from Hee-Chan Hwang’s cut-back.

Two minutes later, Larsen turned provider, assisting Jhon Arias to make it 2-0. Shrewsbury pulled one back through a John Marquis penalty in the 26th minute, but Wolves quickly regained control.

Strand Larsen completed his first-half brace in the 41st minute and added a fourth goal in the 58th, assisted by Arias.

Late Show from Arokodare

Rodrigo Gomes made it 5-1 in the 86th minute with a finish set up by Tolu Arokodare, and the Nigerian forward himself capped the scoring in stoppage time, assisted by David Møller Wolfe.

Strand Larsen’s hat-trick and Wolves’ relentless attack made it a memorable victory at Molineux Stadium.

With this win, Arokodare and Wolves remain unbeaten in their last four games, recording two wins and two draws.

Riding this momentum, they will now turn their focus to hosting Newcastle in the Premier League next Sunday.
