Nigerian defender Tyronne Ebuehi made a notable impact for Empoli in their 3–2 Serie B defeat to Palermo on Saturday evening.

Coming off the bench in the 70th minute, the 30-year-old scored his first goal of the season just two minutes later, equalising at 2–2 and briefly reigniting Empoli’s hopes.
