Victor Osimhen delivered another standout performance as Galatasaray stormed back to defeat Juventus 5-2 in a thrilling UEFA Champions League clash at RAMS Park on Tuesday night.

The Nigerian striker provided two key assists, helping the Turkish champions turn a first-half deficit into a commanding victory on home soil.
Victor Osimhen Leads Galatasaray Fightback Against Juventus
Galatasaray went into the break trailing 2-1 despite taking an early lead through Gabriel Sara after capitalising on a defensive error.
Juventus responded quickly, with Teun Koopmeiners levelling before adding a superb second to put the visitors ahead.
After the interval, the momentum shifted. Noa Lang equalised from close range before Davinson Sánchez converted from a set-piece to give the hosts the advantage.
Juventus’ night worsened when they were reduced to 10 men, and Galatasaray took full control.
That was when Victor Osimhen stepped up again.
The Super Eagles forward created Galatasaray’s fourth and fifth goals, setting up Lang for a simple finish before playing another decisive role in sealing the emphatic win.
Substitute Sacha Boey added the fifth to cap a dominant second-half display from Okan Buruk’s side.
Osimhen’s Champions League Impact Grows
The 27-year-old has now registered six goals and two assists in the competition this season, taking his total goal contributions in Europe to eight.
Across all competitions, his form has been equally impressive. The former Napoli striker has either scored or assisted in each of his last four matches, recording two goals and five assists during that run.
In the Turkish Super Lig, he has nine goals and three assists, bringing his overall tally to 20 goal contributions for Galatasaray this campaign.
His back-to-back two-assist displays — first against Eyupspor in the league and now against Juventus on the European stage — highlight his consistency and sharp decision-making in the final third.
For Juventus, the 5-2 defeat marked their first Champions League loss under Luciano Spalletti and leaves their qualification hopes hanging in the balance ahead of the return leg in Turin.
