The Super Eagles striker played a key role in turning the contest in Galatasaray’s favour. After a tight first half, Sacha Boey gave the hosts the lead just before the break, finishing calmly from close range after a pass from Lucas Torreira.

Alanyaspor responded early in the second half when Florent Hadergjonaj’s cross found Steve Mounie, who headed home to make it 1-1.

The equaliser briefly shifted momentum, but Victor Osimhen remained a constant threat in the final third.

Nine minutes later, Torreira restored Galatasaray’s lead. The midfielder reacted quickest after Osimhen’s ambitious bicycle kick attempt was not cleared properly, slotting the ball into the centre of the net.

The 27-year-old forward was substituted in the 86th minute for Mauro Icardi after another influential display.

His latest performance takes his league tally to ten goals and four assists this season, bringing his overall goal contributions in the Super Lig to 14.

Osimhen has provided assists in each of his last four league appearances and has now scored in back-to-back matches, following his recent strike against Juventus in the Champions League.

Galatasaray remain top of the table with 58 points from 24 matches, maintaining firm control of the title race as the season progresses.

With Victor Osimhen in this kind of form, the Istanbul giants continue to look strong in both domestic and European competitions.
