Osimhen, who recently reached the milestone of 200 career goals, has now scored in five straight Süper Lig matches.

The 27-year-old had earlier recorded a goal and an assist in Galatasaray’s emphatic 4–0 win over Kayserispor, and he maintained that momentum with another clinical finish against Rizespor.

His latest strike takes his league total to nine goals this season, with one assist, while his overall tally across all competitions now stands at 15 goals, including six in UEFA matches.

Galatasaray started the match with confidence, controlling possession and setting the pace from the opening minutes.

Their early pressure paid off in the 19th minute when Baris Alper Yilmaz met a clever lofted pass from Noa Lang and guided a close-range header past the goalkeeper to give the visitors the lead.

That goal separated both sides at the break, but Galatasaray doubled their advantage 17 minutes into the second half.

Yunus Akgun rose to meet another fine cross from Baris Alper Yilmaz, powering a header in off the crossbar, leaving goalkeeper Yahia Fofana with no chance.

Eleven minutes later, Victor Osimhen put the result beyond doubt. The striker reacted quickest to a loose ball inside the penalty area, held off his markers, and calmly slotted the ball into the bottom corner to make it 3–0.

The victory extends Galatasaray’s winning run to three matches and opens up a six-point gap at the top of the Turkish Süper Lig standings.

Osimhen and his teammates will now turn their attention to Friday’s league clash against Eyupspor.
