Arco Maintenance and Engineering Limited says it will sustain it support for initiatives that boost educational development of children.
Managing Director of the company, Michael Okoigun said this on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 when he led a delegation of his company to distribute over 500 educational materials to students in eight public primary and secondary schools in Bonny, Rivers State.
According to the Arco’s Community Relations Officer, Christian Ezekiel-Hart, “the initiative, tagged “ARCO BACK TO SCHOOL”, aims to support education and empower the next generation of leaders”.
The schools visited include Bonny National Grammar School, Community Junior Secondary School, Finima, and Boyle Memorial Primary School, among others.
Okoigun encouraged students to utilize the materials to improve their academic performance, emphasizing the importance of education in building a strong foundation for future leaders.
The Arco Community Relations Officer hinted at an upcoming undergraduate scholarship scheme for Bonny students in higher institutions, which he said further demonstrates Arco’s commitment to advancing education in the community.
Arco Maintenance and Engineering Limited is a maintenance contractor to the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) on it s gas liquefaction and export plant in Bonny, Rivers State.
