BREAKING! Rivers PDP Legal Adviser Resigns, Joins Fubara in APC

In the wake of the defection of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday, December 10, 2025, the State Adviser, Victor Pepple has also dumped the party.
A letter of resignation dated Wednesday, December 10, 2025, which was personally signed by Pepple and made available to Kristina Reports notes that his resignation takes immediate effect.

“I wish to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.”
Pepple, who hails from Bonny Local Government Area of Rivers State, has held many positions which includes serving as Legal Adviser to the Bonny Local Government, and the PDP State Legal Adviser, which he has formally resigned from.

He maintained that his decision was carefully considered, as such is in the alignment and of the best interest of supporting Siminalayi Fubara and President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“This decision comes after careful consideration an in alignment with the consensus reached alongside our leader, His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Rivers State; Sir. Siminalayi Joseph Fubara, GSSRS, to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda “.
He further appreciated the opportunities he had enjoyed during his time in the party, adding that the direction best reflects his political conviction and the developmental goals aspired and achieved as Rivers people.
